The hotel is close to Fisherman's Wharf, making it easy for the family to explore the sea lions and sample clam chowder in a bread bowl. The staff was friendly and allowed us to leave our bags, letting us maximize our time before check-in.

My children wanted more family-friendly amenities, like a pool to cool off after sightseeing.
